What happens when you gather your friends, light some candles, and try to contact the other side… only to discover the spirits are hungry?
“Our Board” is a cheeky, horror-meets-hunger spec ad created for the Musicbed Challenge 2025. Set during a late-night séance gone wrong (or oh-so-right?), this parody commercial introduces Spice Spot — a totally fake food delivery brand specializing in global fusion cuisine and...otherworldly timing.

Inspired by late-night cravings and classic séance tropes, the spot blends eerie aesthetics with playful storytelling, flipping a spooky setup into a satisfying twist. The result? A faux-ad dripping with style, spice, and a dash of absurdity.
👻 Concept:
A group of friends attempts to summon a spirit using a Ouija board. Instead, they accidentally summon their dinner. As the tension rises and candles flicker, a mysterious knock on the door delivers not doom — but deliciousness.
🎥 Behind the Scenes:
This short spec was pulled together with heart, hustle, and a team of passionate creatives. From candlelit lighting setups to an improvised delivery bag, everything you see on screen was crafted to serve up laughs with cinematic flair.
This project came together in true indie filmmaking fashion — production kicked off at 7:00 PM, with the cast and crew powering through the night to wrap around 4:00 AM. Fueled by creative energy (and maybe a bit of caffeine), the edit was completed by 9:00 AM the next morning, just in time to hit the Musicbed Challenge deadline. Talk about delivery under pressure.
